You add dollars in the US. Family in the Caribbean spends from that wallet. You both see the balance.
What you do
Add money by card or by bank transfer. Invite family from your contacts, or with a phone or email.
Before you send, you see the exchange rate, the fee, and what they receive. That quote is the one you confirm.
What they can do
From the same wallet, inside the monthly limit:
- Spend from the balance
- Pay a shop that shows a FamLink QR
- Send to another FamLink user
- Cash out to a bank
- Collect cash at an agent, when that country lists one
Where
You are in the United States. They are in Jamaica or another Caribbean country the app supports.
Amounts in the family wallet are stored in dollars. The app shows them in local currency.
